The structure of haloperidol closely resembles that of bromperidol (the atom at the terminus of the side chain is Cl for haloperidol and Br for bromperidol). Accordingly, both substances have similar reactivities to CEDIA-HAL/BRP, so a sample that contains both haloperidol and bromperidol doesn't provides accurate measured data for each.

We have applications suitable for various types of automated analyzers available. For assistance with applications on automated analyzers, please contact us.
Before measurement of haloperidol, perform calibration using a CEDIA haloperidol Calibrator. Before measurement of bromperidol, perform calibration using a CEDIA bromperidol Calibrator.
