Sekisui Medical Co., Ltd.

Sekisui Medical Co., Ltd. (President: Hideo Tagashira, Head office: Tokyo Chuo ward, Sekisui Medical, hereinafter) was fully accredited by the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) International on June 13 through the assessment of "animal care and use programs" and facility inspection at ADME & Tox. Research Institute (Tokai-mura, Naka-gun, Ibaraki). Sekisui Medical Co., Ltd. is the first pharmacokinetic CRO to be fully accredited by AAALAC International in Japan.

AAALAC International is a private, nonprofit organization that promotes high quality scientific research and humane treatment of animals in science through voluntary accreditation and assessment programs or animal welfare education programs. AAALAC International offers the only international accreditation for animal care and use programs. Since more than 900 medical companies, biotechnology companies, universities, hospitals, and other research institutions have earned AAALAC accreditation, it has become recognized around the world as a symbol of high quality science.

ADME & Tox. Research Institute, as CRO leading domestic non-clinical pharmacokinetics studies, executes humane treatment and proper scientific use of laboratory animals in compliance with the international standards, and performs high quality research and studies in non-clinical pharmacokinetics through the AAALAC International full accreditation.
